Z turned 3 months on the 16th! How in the world are you already 1/4 of a year old, my little lovebug? 3 month stuff:
-She weighs 12ish lbs and is 24 inches long.
-As you can tell from the pictures, she loves books! (Probably because her daddy read to her when she was in the womb?? =]) She honestly will sit there content and look at the pictures while being read to.
-She has gotten too big to sleep in the cradle my dad made for me when I was a baby. =[ So now she's back in the play yard until we have room to set her crib up. But it's kind of nice. The play yard is high enough, since it's pushed right up against my side of the bed, that I don't have to get out of bed to pick her up.
-Also, she's become a thumb sucker at night. Before she was born, Ben & I decided that we wanted to try to avoid a pacifier. (Not that we have anything against pacis, or people who use them! lol) Honestly a few times when she had fussy days I thought about giving in and picking one up. But it's cool now to know she can self-soothe. Even if she does wake me up in the night with her excessively loud sucking. =P

The only trouble with sucking the thumb is the problem about taking it away..... ex. Carolyn!!!
